Looks like
The jackdaw is a medium-sized bird (around 32 cm) in the family of the corvids (ravens, crows). It has an ashen colour, black wings and a short beak. It is an omnivorous bird.
Where and when to spot it
The jackdaw is a permanet resident in our area and can be seen year-round. It nests in buildings, ruins of castles and fortresses or in trees in parks. Especially in autumn, large flocks of jackdaws can be sitting in trees in the city at dawn where they roost.
