Robin (Erithacus rubecula)

Looks like
The robin is characterized by its orange colour around the neck, which forms a contrast with the brown back and its whitish belly. It is a small bird (ca. 13 cm) and has a short and thin beak. It feeds mainly on insects, worms and snails. It has a very melodic voice and a characteristic short call.
Where and when to spot it
Within the city it can be spotted in gardens, parks and fields, but only during autumn and winter. We often only recognize its presence by its call, as it hides in bushes.
